Coming in to this game, you may have been excused for expecting the worst from a City side that had yet to concede a goal this season and who had beaten NUFC in 30 of the last 31 games where they have taken the lead first.
However, Eddie Howe had drilled his side well during the week with the intention of getting in the faces of the opposition and not giving them a moment to breathe, and despite going down 0-1 in the first 5 minutes NUFC regrouped and – incredibly – found themselves up 3-1 in the second half before being pegged back.
An incredible game that had it all, including a red card that wasn’t, and great fun to talk about.
